Busy, busy, busy

Boy has my life changed since the beginning of the year. I knew that being a teacher was going to be demanding, but I really had no clue. My day usually begins around 4 am and I never get to bed before 11ish. Here is a rundown of my week: Monday-Friday: Get up, feed Kaylee, get ready for work, get Kaylee ready for daycare, go to work, come home and relax with Kaylee for a few hours, try to squeeze in grading a few stacks of papers, eat dinner, try to clean house (note: doesn't always happen), and then fall asleep from the exhaustion. Saturday-Sunday: Lesson plans due on Monday and everything else that I didn't get finished through the week. Overall, everything is going well. I just have to learn how to manage my work and family at the same time. It's a lot to do, but so far I'm making it. LOL We'll see if I still have the same tune AFTER my internship begins and I have to start working on my portfolio among everything else. Luckily, Greg has really started helping me out with Kaylee. I would go crazy if I didn't have him here to help. On a personal note, Kaylee is smiling and cooing more than ever. She is getting so big so fast. She was already up to 11 lbs. 11 oz. and 23 in. long on Jan. 2nd for her 2 month check-up. I miss being with her more than ever, but it feels great to have adult interaction again. The women I work with are fantastic and they make my day even when I've had a rocky start. Well, it's time to start grading those 12 stacks of papers and working on my leson plans for next week. I'll leave you with a few updated pictures. Enjoy!!
