Watching the weather last night, I knew we were not going to school today. I'm not sure who was more excited about it: the teachers or the kids. I really needed this day to really lay around the house and do absolutely nothing. It's nice to not have any worries even though I've developed a headache from staring at the computer screen too long. LOL I've played and sung with Kaylee, danced to my heart's content, and about to actually do some cleaning so Greg can have a treat to come home to.
Christmas is next week and I can hardly believe that the year has past. So much has happened this year that it's hard to sit back and reflect on it all. My new year's resolution: To make this next year happier and more worthwhile no matter what is thrown my way. We all have rough times, but it's how you deal and move on. There's nothing more precious than life and you should cherish every moment because there is no guarantee of a tomorrow. It has taken a lot of prayer and effort for me to be able to come to that conclusion. I think truly for the first time, I realize the the meaning of Christmas.
